School Advisory Committee (SAC)

The Bob Hope Primary School SAC is an elected group of five school staff members and five parents representing the faculty and school community. The purpose of SAC is to advise the administration about issues brought to the committee's attention. Issues concerning school policies, student activities, administrative procedures affecting students, educational programs, and student standards of conduct and discipline can be addressed here. SAC meets once a month. Interested parents are encouraged to run for office and participate in the meetings.

Volunteering

Parents are expected to become involved in the School-Home Partnership to facilitate the learning of all children at Bob Hope Primary School. Parents may become involved in school improvement through participation in the following committees:

  • Partners in Education (PIE)

    The purpose of PIE is to promote the welfare of children in the home, school, and community; to raise the standards of home life; to secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children; to bring into closer relation the home and the school; and to develop education between parents and the general public such united efforts will help secure the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education for all students.

  • School Improvement Team Committees (SIT) Reading and Science
  • School-Home-Community Partnership
